On 1st July 2025, a delegation of the Pakistan Youth Parliament (PYP) visited the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly to deepen their understanding of legislative processes and contribute their youth-led suggestions for improved governance.
The delegation gathered at Garrison Park, Peshawar, and proceeded to the Assembly premises, where they were welcomed and seated in the Old Assembly Hall. A detailed briefing was given by Mr. Saif Ullah, Assistant Secretary, who introduced the historical and functional aspects of the Assembly. This was followed by a Question and Answer session with the participants.
Later, Mr. Waqar Shah, Special Secretary of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, addressed the gathering, appreciated the suggestions shared by the youth, and engaged in meaningful dialogue. A shield of appreciation was presented to him by Senior Vice President of PYP, Mr. Jamal Khan.
The visit concluded with a guided tour of the Main Assembly Hall, marking a powerful and inspiring engagement between emerging youth leaders and institutional frameworks.
