Lahore — A delegation from the Pakistan Youth Parliament, led by its President Muhammad Abubakar, visited the Regional Directorate of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Lahore today. The delegation was warmly received by Brigadier Sikander Hayat, Director of the Regional Directorate, who provided a detailed briefing on the current trends in drug use and the comprehensive measures being implemented by the ANF to combat this issue.
During the visit, an in-depth discussion took place between Brigadier Sikander Hayat and the delegation regarding the alarming rise in drug use among youth and the efforts being made to curb it. Brigadier Sikander Hayat highlighted key aspects of the anti-drug campaign and emphasized the need for widespread public awareness and collaborative efforts to protect the younger generation from the menace of drug abuse.
On this occasion, Muhammad Abubakar, President of the Pakistan Youth Parliament, stated, “Our youth are the future of this nation, and it is our collective responsibility to safeguard them from the scourge of drugs. The Pakistan Youth Parliament is committed to working alongside the Anti-Narcotics Force to achieve this national mission and will extend all possible cooperation.”
Furthermore, it was decided during the visit that all members of the Pakistan Youth Parliament will be appointed as ambassadors of the Anti-Narcotics Force Lahore. In this role, they will actively promote awareness against drug abuse in their respective communities and contribute to eradicating this menace.
