President Pakistan Youth Parliament, Muhammad Abubakar, recently participated as a guest speaker in a seminar titled “Religious extremism in light of Seerat ul Nabvi SAW,” organized by Lahore University of Biological and Applied Sciences. The event, held under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Javaid Asgher, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naeem Mubarak, and Mr. Asad Ahmad Khan, marked a momentous day of interfaith harmony.
The seminar aimed to deepen the understanding of religious harmony, strengthen bonds of tolerance and acceptance, and inspire peaceful coexistence among individuals of various faiths. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Prof. Douglas Trimble, Vice Rector of Forman Christian College University; Dr. Khalid Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor of Rashid Latif Khan University; Dr. Mudasar from the Department of Islamic Studies at Garrison University; Rubeen Qamar, Vice President of the National Council of Churches in Pakistan; Mufti Khalil Ahmad, Principal of Jammiaya Yousafia in Lahore; and Mr. Waqar Hashmi.
