Pakistan Youth Parliament Organizes Seminar on Social Entrepreneurship at Lahore College for Women University
Lahore, April 23, 2025 — Pakistan Youth Parliament organized an impactful seminar on Social Entrepreneurship at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), focusing on empowering youth to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to pressing social issues.
Chief Guest, Ms. Jahan Ara Manzoor Watto, Vice Chairperson of the Social Protection Authority, highlighted the importance of youth-led initiatives in addressing societal challenges. “Social entrepreneurship is not just a business model; it is a pathway to empower communities and drive inclusive growth,” she said.
Muhammad Abubakar, President of Pakistan Youth Parliament, emphasized that today’s youth must blend innovation with purpose. “Social entrepreneurship enables young leaders to create real impact by transforming challenges into opportunities,” he remarked.
Dr. Tahira Jabeen, expert in social welfare, encouraged students to move beyond conventional thinking. She shared success stories of community-based enterprises and inspired participants to become agents of change through empathy, creativity, and action.
