A delegation from the Pakistan Youth Parliament met with Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad. The delegation, led by Founder President Muhammad Abubakar, presented a comprehensive 10-point agenda aimed at empowering and engaging the youth of Pakistan in national development. The proposed agenda includes establishing a data bank for youth-led organizations, encouraging youth leadership in events, revising the National Youth Policy 2024, engaging youth through the Higher Education Commission (HEC), introducing political education programs, investing in soft skills alongside technical courses, forming a merit-based National Youth Council, involving volunteers at district and tehsil levels, creating a Public Youth Secretariat, and launching an aggressive environmental awareness program.
The delegation also included Muhammad Faizan, Senior Vice President; Nauman Majeed Khan, Project Coordinator; Mr. Umair Chand, Membership Coordinator; Mr. Waqas Awan, President of Punjab; along with other members. They expressed their gratitude by presenting a memento to the Chairman. Muhammad Abubakar highlighted the importance of youth involvement in shaping the nation’s future, while Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan commended the delegation’s efforts and expressed commitment to working together on these initiatives. The meeting marked a significant step towards achieving the shared goals of youth empowerment and development in Pakistan.
